CTR Good For Hollywood

In reference to my previous article, I recently found from an article by Marc Graser that a new study shows that Hollywood is experiencing more CTR for their advertising campaigns on Facebook than many other industries. Between Sept. 1st and February 27th 2012, The movie and entertainment category had a 0.114% CTR on average worldwide for ads on the social network site.  This CTR is is higher than the average Facebook CTR of 0.04%.

Comparing to other industries, the movies and entertainment category is higher than electronics, automotive, apps, promotions, beauty and cosmetics, food, tourism, health and fitness, and merchant and banking services.

This definitely reaffirms my last article, seeing as the movies and entertainment category is doing so well.
